Thursday marks National Margarita Day, where various restaurant chains offer enticing deals on the iconic beverage.

Recent data from the Tequila industry indicates a significant shift in consumer preferences towards Tequila over Whiskey, with remarkable growth in tequila volumes over the last two decades.

Chuy’s introduces three special margaritas for the occasion: the Tequila Trifecta with el Jimador Silver, 1800 Reposado, and Jose Cuervo Gold at $5, StrawEddy with Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, Lunazul Blanco Tequila, and strawberry puree at $6, and the Spice-A-Rita featuring Espolón Reposado Tequila, Grand Marnier, Monin Jalapeño, and Tajin spice mix at $10.

At TGI Fridays, patrons can upgrade their House Rocks ‘Ritas or House Frozen ‘Ritas to a Grande for an additional $2, and enjoy discounted Macho Nachos during happy hour.

The nationwide Bahama Breeze chain presents $5 margaritas during 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. happy hours on Thursday. Meanwhile, On The Border offers $4 Grande House Margs and $8 1800 Gran Ritas on the celebratory day.

Margaritaville is extending the festivities with all-day $2 happy hour pricing on both Thursday and Friday. Margarita enthusiasts can savor various options at Bahama Breeze, including House Margaritas for $5, Peaks Margaritas for $6, Margarita On The Rocks for $7, Watermelon Margaritas for $8, and Casamigos Pool Party Margarita also for $8.
