NCSOFT Reveals Horizon Steel Frontiers at G-Star 2025

PANGYO, Korea (November 13, 2025) – NCSOFT, a leading developer and publisher in the gaming industry, announced its latest title, Horizon Steel Frontiers, at G-Star 2025. This new MMORPG is a collaboration with Guerrilla, a studio known for the Horizon and Killzone franchises under Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Horizon Steel Frontiers immerses players in the Deadlands, a unique setting within the Horizon universe. The game combines the signature hunting action familiar to fans with advanced MMORPG features, promising deep combat customization and player freedom.

The debut trailer, showcased during the G-Star event, highlights expansive landscapes, mechanical creatures, and epic battles that will define the game. Jan-Bart Van Beek, Studio Director and Art Director at Guerrilla, expressed his enthusiasm for the project in a developer interview, stating, “Bringing this experience to life with NCSOFT has been thrilling.”

NCSOFT’s CEO Taekjin Kim and Executive Producer Sunggu Lee also participated in the commentary, sharing their insights and expectations for Horizon Steel Frontiers. A new official website has been launched, featuring the trailer and developer footage while further details will be released in the coming months.

The game supports cross-platform play on mobile devices and PC, making it accessible to a broad audience. NCSOFT has committed to leveraging its PURPLE platform for the game’s launch.

In addition to Horizon Steel Frontiers, NCSOFT introduced several other titles during its G-Star presentation, including AION 2, which is set to launch in Korea and Taiwan on November 19, 2025. Other games showcased include Cinder City, Limit Zero Breakers, and Time Takers, all of which highlight NCSOFT’s diverse gaming portfolio.

All playable demos at NCSOFT’s booth use NVIDIA‘s GeForce RTX 5080 GPUs, ensuring high performance and stunning visuals for attendees.
