Jingle All The Slay Movie First Look

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Production companies Empire Studios, 8th Law Pictures, and Everly Entertainment have announced a significant cast expansion and unveiled the first looks for their upcoming yuletide action-comedy, “Jingle All The Slay,” as the film initiates worldwide sales.

Joining previously announced actors Nick Sagar, known for the “The Princess Switch” trilogy, and Ricky Norwood of “EastEnders” fame are Julio Cesar Cedillo, Adam Korson, and U.K. soap star Montana Manning from “Hollyoaks.” The ensemble also features Florence Hall, Eloise Lovell Anderson, Mark Fleischmann, Vas Blackwood, Gabriela Ochoa Perez, and Tim Cullingworth-Hudson. Notably, the film’s director is affiliated with the upcoming “Terrifier 3.”

Director and producer Charley McDougall emphasized the film’s unique blend of humor and action, stating, “We mashed up the tone of ‘Home Alone’ with fight sequences of a ‘Rush Hour’ caliber film, creating a family Christmas movie that can be enjoyed for many years to come,” as reported to Variety.

In “Jingle All The Slay,” the narrative follows hitman Hank Carter’s mission to save his marriage by orchestrating the perfect Christmas. However, his plans are thwarted when a gang of holiday-themed bounty hunters comes after him for a lucrative payoff. Cedillo will portray the character Mordecai and remarked on his experience, “I had one of the most gratifying experiences working on ‘Jingle All The Slay’ thanks in part to a well-written script honoring classic Christmas comedies from the past.”

This project marks a creative partnership between Stryker, who directs from a screenplay co-written with McDougall and Sagar. The production team includes Jamie McLeod-Ross, McDougall, Sagar, and Stryker, with Arthur Corber serving as the executive producer.

McDougall reflected on the nostalgic value of the film, saying, “‘Jingle All The Slay’ is a total throwback to those classic ’90s flicks we all grew up loving. We’ve combined the high-octane action of a ‘John Wick’ movie with the wackiness of ‘Home Alone,’ and we believe we’ve created something truly unique.” He further added that this film might spark a franchise.

Simon Stolland will serve as the director of photography, while Mark Keady handles editing. On-set stills will be captured by Jack Peter Mundy.

This film represents a significant milestone for Sagar, who is stepping into a producer role for the first time. He noted, “From the start, I wanted ‘Jingle All The Slay’ to have real heart and family values alongside all the Christmas chaos. This is more than just a holiday film — it’s a chance to explore new ground, blending classic holiday spirit with thrilling action in a fresh way.”

As the producers approach Cannes Film Market in May to sell the film, McLeod-Ross emphasized the personal significance of the project, mentioning their long-time dream of collaborating with Sagar. “To finally make that happen with such a special, feel-good, family-fun flick — we’re incredibly proud,” he said.

Currently in post-production, “Jingle All The Slay” is targeting a Christmas 2025 release.
