New Jersey Lottery Winners Scratch Off Tickets

TRENTON, N.J. — Ten players in New Jersey scored $10,000 or more from Powerball, Mega Millions, and local lottery games last week, the New Jersey Lottery announced on Monday. Winners from the period of Feb. 17 to Feb. 23 are spread across the Garden State, with several significant payouts along the Jersey Shore.

In Monmouth County, a player won $10,000 from the Mega Millions drawing held on Feb. 11, 2025. The winning ticket was purchased at Country Farm in Bradley Beach. Meanwhile, in Ocean County, three players collectively won substantial prizes from different games. A ticket bought at Mystic Wine & Spirits in Little Egg Harbor contributed to this total, while another player took home $50,000 from a Loaded scratch-off ticket at the Stop & Shop in Whiting. Additionally, a $50,000 prize from a Millionaire Maker scratch-off ticket was won at Wawa in Barnegat.

“It’s always thrilling to see our players winning big, even if it’s not the jackpot amounts,” said New Jersey Lottery spokesperson. “These wins not only change lives but also contribute to our state’s programs funded by lottery proceeds.”

This week’s lottery results provide a tempting reminder of the slim odds of hitting the jackpot. The chance of winning the Powerball jackpot stands at approximately 1 in 292.2 million. A $2 ticket gives players about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and secure a $1 million payout. For a third-prize win of at least $50,000, the odds are approximately 913,129 to 1.

Despite the low probabilities, New Jersey’s recent lottery winners have defied the odds. The third-prize tickets from last Monday’s drawing were sold at BJ’s Wholesale Club on Marketplace Boulevard in Hamilton, Mercer County, and at Tobacco King on Route 516 in Old Bridge, Middlesex County. A third winning ticket was bought at Glassboro Convenience on South Girard Avenue in Gloucester County.

The growing excitement around the lottery is compounded by the increasing jackpot amounts. With no one winning the top prize recently, the Powerball jackpot has climbed to $195 million, with a cash option of $90 million. The drawing scheduled for Feb. 24 promises to attract even more players hoping to strike it rich.

“It’s always a chance worth taking, even if it’s just for fun,” said a local resident who buys lottery tickets regularly. “You never know when your luck might change.”

The New Jersey Lottery reminds participants that every ticket purchased not only provides an opportunity to win but also supports vital local programs. For details on claiming prizes and understanding the lottery process, players can visit the New Jersey Lottery website.
