As the NFL season enters its second half, the NFC standings are taking shape with several teams vying for division and wild-card spots. Here is the current picture after Week 9:

In the NFC North, the Detroit Lions lead with a 6-1 record, followed closely by the Green Bay Packers at 6-2. The Minnesota Vikings are in third place with a 5-2 record, while the Chicago Bears are at 4-3, still in contention for a wild-card spot.

The Washington Commanders are atop the NFC East with a 7-2 record, ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles who are 5-2. The Dallas Cowboys trail behind at 3-5, and the New York Giants are at 2-7.

In the NFC South, the Atlanta Falcons are in first place with a 6-3 record, significantly ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who are 4-4. The New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers are further back at 2-6 and 1-7, respectively.

The Arizona Cardinals lead the NFC West with a 4-4 record, thanks to a better division record than the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks, who are also 4-4. The Los Angeles Rams are at 3-4, just outside the current playoff picture.

The wild-card race is highly competitive, with the Packers, Vikings, and Eagles holding the top spots. The Bears, Buccaneers, 49ers, and Seahawks are all in the mix, fighting for the remaining wild-card positions.

The upcoming games will be crucial in determining the final playoff spots, with key matchups such as the Buccaneers facing the 49ers and the Packers battling the Lions set to impact the standings significantly.
