New York, NY — The NFL is gearing up to announce its 2025 schedule with excitement brewing among fans and teams alike. Early reveals are set to begin Monday morning, with several matchups expected to be aired on major networks including NBC, FOX, and Amazon.

The league has already confirmed that the season opener will feature the defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, hosting the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, September 4. This primetime game will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET and will be shown on NBC.

On May 12, fans can anticipate announcements of three additional games, one each during segments on NBC’s Today Show, FOX, and Prime Video. Following that, ABC’s Good Morning America will unveil another game on May 13, and CBS Mornings will share a matchup the following day.

Rumor has it Josh Allen, quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, may appear on NBC’s Today Show, sparking further speculation about the Bills’ schedule, particularly regarding their season opener. NFL announcer Mike Tirico confirmed on the show that the Eagles versus Cowboys matchup would be the focus instead.

Aside from the season opener, the NFL is expected to reveal details of international games on May 13, with the Buffalo Bills being part of that schedule. Their last international game was a 25-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on October 8, 2023.

The complete schedule for every team will be officially announced on May 14 at 8 p.m. ET during a live broadcast on ESPN2 and the NFL Network. Rich Eisen and Maurice Jones-Drew are among the hosts for the event.

Fans can look forward to an intriguing season as the league navigates through a series of matchup leaks leading up to the main event.
