Northern California Lottery Winners Claim $25 Million in Prizes

CONCORD, Calif. — Lottery players in Northern California have struck it rich, with three individuals winning a combined total of $25 million in recent months, according to the California Lottery.
In Concord, Steven Muhlestein won a staggering $10 million by scratching off a jackpot prize from a $10 Million Super Bonus Scratchers ticket. He purchased the winning ticket at the Vintage Wine Shoppe & Liquor, located at the corner of Clayton Road and Roslyn Drive, the lottery reported.
Delores Cesena, who hails from a small community in Merced County, also joined the ranks of the lucky winners. About 100 miles east of the Bay Area, she uncovered a $10 million jackpot on a 200X Scratchers ticket bought at Shannon’s Mini Mart, situated at 1100 Shaffer Road in Atwater.
In Sacramento, Ashley Eugene received a $20 Maximum Millions Scratchers ticket as a gift from her father. To her surprise, it turned out to be a $5 million winner. Her dad purchased the ticket at A1 Mart, located at 2550 W. El Camino Ave. in the state capital.
All retailers that sold these winning tickets will also be eligible for bonus prizes, celebrating their part in the good fortune of their customers.
