NEW YORK (May 2, 2025) – The National Women’s Soccer League announced the Best XI of the Month for April, recognizing 11 standout players selected by the NWSL Media Association and on-air talent. The prestigious list features a blend of talent from across the league.

Aubrey Kingsbury of Washington Spirit leads the lineup as goalkeeper, having made 13 saves in 270 minutes while securing two clean sheets. Defenders include Lilly Reale from Gotham FC, a rookie who scored her first professional goal this month, and Izzy Rodriguez from Kansas City Current, who tallied assists in two victories.

Joining them is Emily Sonnett (Gotham FC), who achieved a 93% passing accuracy and recorded four interceptions, and Ryan Williams from North Carolina, who scored her first pro goal in a dramatic match against Kansas City. Midfielders Kenza Dali (San Diego) and Debinha (Kansas City) also made the cut along with Lo’eau LaBonta (Kansas City), who has netted two goals this season.

On the forward line, Barbra Banda from Orlando Pride, Delphine Cascarino (San Diego), and Esther González from Gotham FC round out the list. González was recognized as the Player of the Month, scoring an impressive seven goals in April to take the lead in the Golden Boot race.
