OCEAN CITY, Md. — The 2025 Oceans Calling festival is poised to attract thousands of visitors to Ocean City from September 26 to 28, featuring headlining acts such as Green Day, Noah Kahan, and Fall Out Boy.

Ocean City Director of Tourism and Business Development Tom Perlozzo expressed optimism about the festival’s potential impact on the local economy. “It’s a $30 to $60 million impact for the town,” he said, highlighting the importance of the event for local businesses to sustain themselves through the winter months.

Perlozzo noted that the annual festival plays a key role in generating critical revenue sources such as room tax, amusement tax, and food tax, all of which contribute to Ocean City’s growth as a prime destination. “It is a huge boost to our economy,” he added.

Local business owner David Schroeder, manager of Ocean Gallery along the boardwalk, shared his experience from last year’s event, where he experienced an unprecedented sales day. “I thought Oceans Calling would kill us because we’re outside of it and you can’t bring anything into the festival. I’ve been here 31 years, and last year during Oceans Calling I had my best day ever,” Schroeder stated. He recounted the story of an attendee purchasing 38 pieces of framed art, stating, “The people that come for Oceans Calling, they’re art people. And a lot of those people have never been here because Oceans Calling is bringing in people that have never been to Ocean City.”

Presale tickets for the festival will go live on February 14 at 10 a.m. EST, offering fans the opportunity to secure their spots for what is expected to be a monumental event.
