Julian Sayin Ohio State Football Commitment

COLUMBUS, OhioJulian Sayin, ranked as the No. 110 overall prospect in the 2027 class, has officially committed to Ohio State, adding to the Buckeyes’ impressive recruitment for the future.

This announcement comes as the team prepares for a challenging matchup against UCLA, set for this Saturday. Sayin is already making waves after appearing on The Heisman Trophy Podcast earlier this week.

In a conversation with host Chris Huston, Sayin reflected on his breakout season, highlighting the differences between this year’s squad and last year’s veteran-heavy team. “We’re a pretty young team this year, we’re still growing every week and trying to get better,” he said.

Sayin has shown marked improvement in his accuracy and overall play. On the podcast, he discussed the importance of timing with his receivers and the contributions of a strong offensive line. “It’s a lot of things that factor into that, but I think just the practice, the reps, and the timing of it, getting on the same page,” he explained.

Currently, Sayin is leading the nation with a Total QBR of 91.1 and a completion rate of 80.9%. He remarked on the depth of talent around him, stating, “We have some really good players here at Ohio State, so receivers are always making contested catches.”

As the conversation turned to his aspirations, Sayin expressed a desire to continue improving, particularly in his pocket presence and decision-making. “There are still so many areas I want to keep getting better, keep growing and keep developing,” he said.

Meanwhile, ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky caused a stir by declaring Ohio State the least tested No. 1 team in college football history. “They’ve played nobody,” he remarked, raising questions about the team’s resilience under pressure.

As excitement builds for the upcoming game against UCLA, fans eagerly anticipate Sayin’s future contributions and the release of the new docuseries, “Redemption,” which chronicles Ohio State football’s national championship run last season. The series premieres on Amazon Prime Video on November 16.
