Oracle Partners with Defense Technologies for AI in National Security
REDWOOD SHORES, California — Oracle Corporation announced a strategic partnership with Defense Technologies on November 6 to enhance artificial intelligence (AI) offerings for defense and national security. This collaboration aims to provide clients with sovereign cloud solutions using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Jefferies analyst Brent Thill reaffirmed a Buy rating for Oracle on November 16 while setting a price target of $400. The partnership with Defense Technologies is pivotal, enabling clients to deploy AI-enabled software on a scalable basis.
“Oracle is committed to ensuring its cloud can support the most demanding missions in defense and national security,” said Jason Rees, Senior Vice President of Technology Engineering at Oracle EMEA. “Through our newly launched Defense Ecosystem, we are creating an environment where sovereign innovation can scale.” He emphasized the collaboration’s importance, highlighting that founding members like Whitespace are already utilizing the program to enhance AI capabilities.
Oracle integrates AI and machine learning across its technology stack, offering built-in automation, improved analytics, and generative AI capabilities across its cloud services and software applications.
Despite its potential, some analysts believe other AI stocks might provide greater investment opportunities compared to Oracle. The company continues to focus on expanding its roles in critical sectors affected by the current economic climate.
