Baltimore Orioles Vs Minnesota Twins Baseball

MINNEAPOLIS — The Baltimore Orioles missed numerous chances to secure a victory against the Minnesota Twins on Thursday, losing 5-3 and dropping to 10 games below .500.

Orioles relief pitcher Yennier Cano suffered the loss after giving up two runs in one-third of an inning. Dean Kremer, the starting pitcher, had a strong performance, pitching seven innings and allowing only two earned runs while striking out eight batters. Despite Kremer’s efforts, the offense could not come through during crucial moments.

The Orioles generated plenty of traffic on the basepaths, but failed to convert those opportunities into runs. “We had our chances, but we just couldn’t get the big hit when we needed it,” Kremer said after the game.

With a record of 13-23, the Orioles now sit at the bottom of the American League East, struggling with both offensive consistency and defensive reliability. They have allowed 203 runs this season, showing clear issues on both sides of the field.

The team has now lost ten of its last eleven games, raising concerns about its direction and potential for the rest of the season. Manager Brandon Hyde emphasized the need for the squad to regroup as they prepare for the remainder of the series. “We have to find a way to turn this around. We are better than what we’ve shown,” he stated.

The Orioles will look to bounce back in their next game, hoping that the performances of pitchers like Kremer can inspire their batters to capitalize and find their rhythm.
