2025 Pro Bowl Games Orlando Panthers Players

ORLANDO, Fla. – The 2025 Pro Bowl Games kicked off Thursday, January 30, with two Carolina Panthers players making their debut at the annual NFL event. The festivities, held at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, will continue through Sunday, February 2, featuring a mix of skills competitions and a flag football game.

Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn and linebacker Shaq Thompson are representing the team for the first time. Horn participated in the Relay Race during Thursday’s Skills Show, while Thompson showcased his agility in the Dodgeball event. The Skills Show included five events, setting the stage for Sunday’s main event: a 7-on-7 flag football game.

The Pro Bowl Games have evolved in recent years, shifting from a traditional tackle football game to a more fan-friendly format. This year’s event includes a mix of skill challenges and the flag football finale, designed to highlight players’ athleticism in a less physically demanding setting.

“It’s an honor to be here and represent the Panthers,” Horn said. “The atmosphere is incredible, and it’s great to compete with the best in the league.” Thompson echoed the sentiment, adding, “This is a dream come true. I’m excited to show what I can do in these unique challenges.”

The Panthers’ social media team has been actively sharing updates, including highlights and behind-the-scenes content. Fans can follow the team’s official accounts for live coverage throughout the weekend.

In addition to the Panthers’ participants, several other players were named as replacements for the Pro Bowl rosters. Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson and Patriots rookie Drake Maye were among the notable additions. Wilson, a 10-time Pro Bowler, and Maye, making his first appearance, bring star power to the AFC roster.

The Pro Bowl Games also serve as a celebration of the NFL season, offering players a chance to connect with fans and each other in a more relaxed environment. The event will conclude Sunday with the flag football game, broadcast live on ESPN.
