In a shocking turn of events, Kate Fallon, a player for the Parramatta Eels NRLW team, has been charged with assault after an incident involving a 17-year-old neighbor.

The alleged altercation took place last Wednesday at an apartment complex in Chifley, Sydney. According to police reports, Fallon, who is just 20 years old, was involved in a dispute over a food delivery that resulted in the teenager needing medical attention.

The victim’s father stated that his daughter received three stitches for a five-centimeter gash on her head after the confrontation. She was taken to the Prince of Wales Hospital following the incident, highlighting the seriousness of the injuries.

The drama unfolded when the teenager began knocking on doors in search of a $70 food order that she claimed had not been delivered. The father expressed his disbelief, recounting how everything escalated quickly during the confrontation.

“Before she knew it, she was fighting,” he told Sydney radio station 2GB, expressing concern for his daughter’s well-being.

Police were called to the scene around 1:30 PM and arrested Fallon, who was later taken to Maroubra Police Station. She has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Fallon is scheduled to appear in Waverley Local Court on August 14. She was previously named in the reserves for Parramatta’s upcoming round one match against Brisbane, set to take place this Saturday.

The Parramatta Eels released a statement acknowledging the incident and confirmed that they have informed the NRL integrity unit. However, they noted that, due to the ongoing police investigation, they would not be making further comments at this time.
