Paul Heaton to Host Major Concert at Sheffield’s Bramall Lane

Renowned musician Paul Heaton has announced a landmark concert at Sheffield United‘s Bramall Lane, marking one of the biggest solo performances of his career. The concert is scheduled for Sunday, 25th May 2025, with Heaton set to be accompanied by special guest singer Rianne Downey. Tickets for the event are priced at a reasonable £39.50, excluding fees, and will be available for purchase starting from Friday, 11th October at 9:30 AM.

Paul Heaton, born in Bromborough, Wirral in 1962, moved to Sheffield at the age of four and has since been an ardent supporter of Sheffield United Football Club. Heaton’s new solo album, ‘The Mighty Several,’ is set for release on Friday, 11th October. The album, recorded at Blueprint Studios in Salford with Ian Broudie of The Lightning Seeds, promises to deliver more of Heaton’s signature sound.

Prior to his Bramall Lane performance, Heaton will be embarking on a tour starting in Dublin on Monday, 23rd September 2024, with additional shows scheduled in Belfast and several cities across the UK including Birmingham, Norwich, Cambridge, Cardiff, Bristol, Glasgow, Liverpool, Nottingham, and Leeds, culminating in two shows in London before wrapping up on 7th November.

The Sheffield show will also feature support from emerging acts, though their names have not yet been disclosed. This concert is expected to be a celebration of Heaton’s extensive catalogue and his connection with Sheffield, promising an unforgettable evening for fans. Details about additional supporting acts have yet to be announced, further building anticipation for the event.
