CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The 2025 PGA Championship kicks off this Thursday, May 15, at Quail Hollow Club, bringing together the world’s top golfers for four days of competition. The event runs through Sunday, May 18, and features many exciting storylines.

Defending champion Xander Schauffele faces tough competition this year from players like Rory McIlroy, who recently ended an 11-year major drought by winning the 2025 Masters, and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who comes into the championship after winning at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson.

Two-time PGA champion Justin Thomas will also be looking to capitalize on his recent success, having won at Quail Hollow earlier this week. Reigning U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark is also a contender, fresh off a strong performance at the Masters and a recent victory in a LIV event.

Fans can watch the championship on ESPN and CBS. ESPN covers the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday, while CBS broadcasts the final two rounds on Saturday and Sunday. Online streaming is available through ESPN+ and Paramount+, offering access to featured groups and holes.
