Plaistow Man Charged After Deadly Rollover in Vermont

THETFORD, Vt. — A New Hampshire man has been charged in relation to a deadly rollover crash on Interstate 91, according to Vermont State Police. The incident occurred before 2 p.m. on Saturday when 40-year-old Joseph Hamilton of Plaistow lost control of his Pontiac GTO, which struck a guardrail and flipped over.
The crash resulted in the death of Alyssa Tetreault, a 27-year-old passenger from Pepperell, Massachusetts, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Hamilton sustained major injuries and was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment.
Two children, an 8-year-old and a 5-year-old, were also in the vehicle. Fortunately, both were wearing seatbelts and were subsequently taken to the hospital for precautionary measures.
