Pop Sensation Halsey Reveals Lupus and Leukemia Battle While Teasing New Album
Pop sensation Halsey, also known as Ashley Frangipane, has stunned fans by opening up about her ongoing fight against Lupus and Leukemia while hinting at a new album release.
Amassing global success with hits like “Without Me” and collaborations with Chainsmokers, Halsey has remained a chart-topping star since her debut album, Badlands.
In a recent Instagram video, the singer shared her struggles with unidentified health issues, supporting and donating to the Lupus Research Alliance and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Having accumulated over 50 billion streams in her career so far, Halsey aims to reclaim her health, mentioning a “rebirth” as she readies to relaunch herself and her music.
Alongside a teaser from her upcoming fifth album, titled “The End,” Halsey disclosed her battle with connective tissue disorders like Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjögren’s syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, and POTS that affect her daily life and previous diagnosis of endometriosis.
With a promise to donate all proceeds from “The End” to the Lupus Research Alliance and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Halsey’s resilience and dedication to her craft shine through despite her health challenges.
