Powerball Lottery Tickets And Jackpot Sign

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Powerball lottery jackpot has surged to an estimated $378 million for the next drawing on Saturday, March 15, 2025, after no one won the $353 million prize in the previous drawing on Wednesday, March 12. Players across 45 states and U.S. territories are anxiously hoping to strike it rich.

The winning numbers from the last drawing were 11, 13, 28, 51, 58, with the Powerball number being 1. Despite the lack of a jackpot winner, thousands of players across Ohio and the nation scored smaller prizes. Notably, two tickets worth $1 million each were sold in Colorado and West Virginia.

The cash option for the new jackpot is approximately $177.5 million. Players can take part by purchasing $2 tickets until 9:45 p.m. Eastern on drawing nights, which occur Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m.

Powerball offers a Double Play feature in select locations, giving players an additional chance to win in a separate draw, potentially adding up to $10 million in prizes. This feature is available in 13 jurisdictions, including Pennsylvania and Michigan.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, making it slightly more favorable than the Mega Millions odds of 1 in 302.6 million. However, the odds of winning $1 million by matching five white balls are 1 in 11,688,053.52.

Ohio has been host to significant Powerball wins recently, including a notable ticket sold in Macedonia during the April 19 drawing last year. Enthusiastic players across the region are eager to see if they can repeat such fortune this time around.
