Powerball Jackpot Reaches $546 Million for November 15 Drawing
TALLAHASSEE, Florida — The Powerball lottery jackpot has soared to an estimated $546 million for the drawing scheduled at 11 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 15.
No ticket holders matched all five numbers plus the Powerball in the previous drawing on November 12, causing the jackpot to grow significantly. The winning numbers for that drawing were 29, 39, 43, 51, 65, and the Powerball was 23, with a Power Play of 2x. Despite the lack of a grand prize winner, two tickets from New Jersey and Virginia secured $1 million prizes by matching five numbers.
The current jackpot has rolled over 27 times after two tickets in Fredericksburg, Texas, and St. Louis, Missouri, won $1.787 billion on September 6. Since then, players have waited eagerly for a new winner, increasing anticipation for Saturday’s drawing.
The one-time cash option for this upcoming drawing is approximately $255.6 million. As a reminder, a single Powerball ticket costs $2. Players can enhance their winnings by adding the Power Play option for an additional $1, which multiplies non-jackpot prizes.
Powerball drawings take place three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. For those interested in participating, tickets can be bought at various retail locations or online in several states, including Florida.
While players hold their breath in hope of a big win, lottery experts remind them of the odds — approximately 1 in 292.2 million for winning the jackpot. All winnings must be claimed within designated time frames, typically within 180 days in Florida.
As the clock ticks down to Saturday’s drawing, only time will tell if a ticket holder will emerge victorious, potentially becoming the next Powerball millionaire.
