Rachel Stevens Opens Up About Co-Parenting Challenges and New Relationship with Dancing On Ice Pro Brendyn Hatfield

Rachel Stevens, the former member of the popular British pop group S Club 7, has candidly discussed the complexities she faces in her co-parenting dynamic with ex-husband Alex Bourne.

The 46-year-old artist parted ways with her spouse, Alex Bourne, known for his role in ITV‘s Finding Alice, in 2022, revealing the end of their 13-year marriage through an Instagram post in July.

Appearing on the morning talk show “Lorraine,” Rachel opened up about the ongoing adjustments they are making as co-parents to their two daughters, Amelie and Minnie, despite their separation.

“It’s a process like with anything, and I love the word navigate because it so is. It’s such a process,” expressed Rachel during her chat with Lorraine, reflecting on the complexities of their new reality.

“They are always our priority and our focus, and keeping them safe in it all. It’s not easy, but I feel very lucky that the kids are both of our priority, and we’ve had lots of help and advice in the leadup to our separation,” she added.

Rachel also addressed her new romantic relationship with Dancing On Ice professional skater Brendyn Hatfield, emphasizing that their growing connection was a determining factor in her decision to end her marriage with Alex.

Recalling the moment she realized her marriage was over, Rachel shared, “It was really scary, because I knew as soon as I said that that was it.”

Brendyn Hatfield, who split from his wife Jessica around three years ago, has found love anew with Rachel, with the singer describing him as a ‘beautiful human’ whom she truly loves.
