Rahul Tripathi Ipl 2025 Match Performance

MUMBAI, India – Rahul Tripathi‘s struggles continued in the 2025 Indian Premier League as he registered the slowest innings of the tournament during a match against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 11.

In a disappointing performance, Tripathi managed to score only 16 runs off 22 balls before being dismissed by Sunil Narine. This marked a continuation of his poor form this season, with previous scores of 2, 5, and 23 in his first three matches.

Tripathi’s strike rate of 72.73 has raised concerns among fans and analysts alike, especially given that he was acquired for INR 3.4 crore during the auction. His performance fell short of expectations, with only one boundary hit during his stay at the crease.

Comparatively, other players like Nitish Kumar Reddy and Virat Kohli, who recorded 31 runs each but at a faster strike rate of 91.18 and 103.33 respectively, have been performing better in similar conditions.

As the season progresses, Tripathi’s cumulative runs stand at a mere 46 with an average of 11.50 and a slightly better strike rate of 97.87. His team, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), is currently struggling, managing just one win out of five matches, and holding the ninth position on the IPL points table.
