Memphis Weather Forecast Rainy Weekend

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Scattered showers are predicted to continue across the Mid-South throughout the weekend, especially in regions north and east of Shelby County. While isolated thunderstorms may develop today, the National Weather Service has confirmed that no severe weather is expected.

A cold front is currently moving through the FOX13 viewing area, accompanied by an area of low pressure, bringing cloudy skies and showers. Forecasters indicate that the weekend forecast will feature a mix of sun and clouds, with high temperatures reaching the upper 60s and lows dipping to the upper 40s.

Today’s weather includes a 40% chance of early showers and isolated storms, gradually leading to sunny conditions as the day progresses. Tonight, the skies are expected to clear with temperatures dropping to around 49 degrees. Sunday’s forecast calls for partly cloudy skies and slight chances of rain, with a anticipated high of 67 degrees.

The upcoming week will bring sunnier skies, with high temperatures returning to the low 70s by Monday and mid-70s by midweek. However, rain is expected to return towards the latter half of the week, with a 20% chance of morning showers predicted for Tuesday.
