Davante Adams Los Angeles Rams Training

Los Angeles, CA — Rams wide receiver Davante Adams is 32 years old and has recently been traded from the Raiders to the Jets. After a challenging season, he is ready to prove he still has a lot to offer. Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur expressed confidence in Adams’s abilities after observing him during practice.

LaFleur noted, “You know the guys that are just a little bit different when the ball’s in the air, and how they contort their body and just go up and get it like basketball players. He’s north of 30, but the way he’s out there, it doesn’t look like it.”

Adams’s previous season began badly, but he finished strong, registering 41 catches for 576 yards and six touchdowns in the last six games. His strong performance largely went unnoticed as the Jets were already out of playoff contention.

The Rams are hopeful that Adams can maintain his momentum this year, as they aim to be competitive throughout the season. LaFleur’s assessment positions Adams as a vital piece in the team’s offensive plans.

The coaching staff’s faith in Adams indicates they are banking on his experience and talent to contribute effectively to their success in the upcoming NFL season.
