Rangers Players Shine on International Duty
RANGERS’ football players showcased their talents on the international stage during the recent break, participating in various tournaments and matches around the world.
Five Rangers stars, Jenna Fife, Nicola Docherty, Chelsea Cornet, Jane Ross, and Brogan Hay, proudly represented Scotland in the prestigious Pinatar Cup.
Under the guidance of coach Pedro Martinez Losa, the Scottish team secured a spot in the tournament final, with Chelsea Cornet earning her first start for Scotland.
In another international fixture, Megan Bell, currently on loan at Hearts, played a crucial role for Northern Ireland in the UEFA Nations League, helping her team to victory over Montenegro.
Meanwhile, Rachel Rowe shone for Wales in a friendly against the Republic of Ireland, contributing to her team’s 2-0 win.
On the youth front, several Rangers youngsters, including Jodi McLeary, Laura Berry, Mia McAulay, Eilidh Austin, Mason Clark, Kayla Jardine, and Jenna Ferguson, showcased their potential for Scotland Under-19s.
They delivered exceptional performances in friendly matches against Wales, with goals from McLeary, McAulay, and Berry, setting the stage for their upcoming European Qualifiers in April.
