Renzo Advances to The Voice Season 27 Finale Amid Emotional Journey

LOS ANGELES, CA — Renzo is one of the five finalists competing in the Season 27 finale of The Voice. After choosing a coach during the blind auditions, he has progressed week after week to secure his spot in the finals.
The competition shifted to the audience during the Semi-Finals, and viewers will have the chance to vote for their favorite artists following Part 1 of the finale. The winner will be announced at the conclusion of Part 2 on Tuesday, May 20.
This marks Renzo’s second appearance on a major singing competition, having previously participated in Season 16 of The Voice in 2018 under his real name, Dennis Lorenzo.
In his previous run, Renzo made it to the Top 10 on American Idol before being eliminated. His father was tragically killed by gun violence when Renzo was just four years old, shaping much of his life and music.
“That was really tough on me growing up,” he shared on The Voice. “There weren’t really many people for me to look up to. I had a lot of love from my mom…” He often wonders who he might have become had his father been alive.
Currently, Renzo juggles his passion for music with a job as an elementary school science teacher, supporting his family financially. He strives to pursue music full-time and is a proud father with three children, including a daughter living in Chile.
On social media, Renzo expressed his dedication to fatherhood, noting, “If there’s one thing that never fails to put a smile on my face, it’s my family.” His wife, Clotilde Delavennat, also supports his journey in the arts.
Delavennat, a French actress and producer, praised Renzo’s devotion as a father in a touching post for Father’s Day, highlighting that he is a hero to their daughters. The couple balances their artistic ambitions with raising their children.
The Voice finale promises to be an exciting conclusion to a transformative season for Renzo, who continues to make a mark in the competitive music scene.
