Republican Candidates File For May Primary Election In Marshall County

Republican candidates for the May Primary election in Marshall County are continuing to file, according to Melinda Keilman, the Voter Registration Deputy.

On Friday, January 19th, James Masterson, a current At-Large member of the County Council, filed for re-election. With Masterson’s filing, there are now four candidates vying for the three At-Large seats. The other candidates include Bill Githens, Tim Harman, and Brandon Schadek.

Two new precinct committeeman filings have also been made, with Mandy Campbell filing for Walnut 2 and Amy Jones filing for Union 2.

Gregory Compton is the latest citizen to file as a delegate for the upcoming Republican Convention.

The filing deadline for candidates is Tuesday, February 6th at noon.
