Rhea Ripley Warns Fans Against Sending Mail to Her Home

STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has taken to social media to express her concerns regarding fan interactions, specifically warning fans against sending mail to her personal residence. In a tweet posted on February 23, 2025, Ripley explicitly stated, “Shouldn’t have to say this… Do not ever send fan mail to my house. That is by mail, or SELF DELIVERED! That is 100% not ok.” This comes amidst a growing trend of wrestlers speaking out about breaches of privacy from fans.
Ripley’s statement echoes recent experiences expressed by fellow WWE superstar Asuka. Earlier this month, Asuka revealed that she felt unsafe due to unwanted fan attention, which even prompted her to contact the police. Following her alert to fans, Asuka confirmed that WWE and TKO were taking steps to ensure her safety.
The issue of celebrity privacy violations has become increasingly prevalent in the professional wrestling community. Fans have access to wrestlers through various platforms, promoting a sense of closeness that can lead to inappropriate behavior. In light of this, Ripley’s direct approach aims to set clear boundaries regarding fan interactions.
Ripley, who is set to appear on the February 24th episode of WWE RAW, expressed her excitement about her championship title, saying, “It feels fantastic. I’ve missed this Women’s World Championship. I was the first-ever Women’s World Champion, and I just feel like it belongs on my shoulder.” She went on to assert her determination, stating, “Whoever stands across the ring from me, they’re gonna have to be ready for ‘Mami’ because at the end of the day, ‘Mami’ is always on top.”
Ripley’s warning comes on the heels of similar cautionary messages from other wrestlers in the industry, including Bianca Belair, who addressed followers about recognizing fraudulent social media accounts impersonating her family. belair noted, “My parents do NOT have ANY social media accounts on ANY platform! Be safe out there!”
The increasing need for athletes and entertainers to protect their privacy has been documented in recent years, with many prominent figures confronting unwanted attention and harassment. Whether receiving gifts or trying to connect with fans, many wrestlers are placing emphasis on protecting their personal spaces.
As WWE approaches its high-profile WrestleMania 41 event, scheduled for April, issues surrounding privacy are likely to remain at the forefront of discussions concerning fan interactions. As Ripley prepares for her title defense, she continues to encourage her supporters to respect her boundaries.
