RHOSLC Cast Addresses Fractured Relationships in Season Finale
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The cast of *The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City* (RHOSLC) opened up about their fractured relationships and the possibility of reconciliation during the season finale and its accompanying *After Show*, which aired Tuesday night on Bravo.
Lisa Barlow, 50, expressed frustration with what she described as inauthentic behavior from some of her co-stars. “For me, it’s like the way it’s always been,” she said during the January 15 episode. “Since year one of all of this, relationships change organically. I’ve organically distanced myself from people [who] say one thing and do another.” Barlow accused certain castmates of creating “bad, bad situations” and harming others through their words.
Bronwyn, a newcomer to the show, admitted that her friendship with Barlow had deteriorated by the end of the season. “I don’t know that Lisa and I are done. But I know that we’re done for here,” Bronwyn shared. “That last dinner really finalized some things for me. If you can’t show up in a space where you’ve agreed to be totally honest and to be receptive and to be willing to forgive, then I don’t know where she and I go from here.” Despite the tension, Bronwyn expressed a desire to maintain a relationship with Barlow, stating, “I’ve loved Lisa for a long time and would like to continue to love Lisa for a long time.”
Heather Gay, 53, reflected on her evolving relationship with her cousin, Whitney Rose, 38, noting that their bond remains inconsistent. “There are times when I feel closer and times when [Whitney and I] feel more distant,” Gay said. She also expressed hope for the group’s future, recalling a brief moment of unity during the season. “For these women, especially last year, there was a moment of absolute trust, absolute confidence, and absolute understanding. It didn’t last for long, but it lasted long enough to give me hope and faith and gratitude to each and every person,” she explained.
Meredith Marks, 52, echoed Gay’s sentiments but emphasized the need for personal growth among the cast. “If half of the group that has this tit-for-tat theory can move on and grow up and go beyond that and dig a little deeper, we can all do better,” Marks said. “I’m trying to do better each day for myself. I falter all the time. I’m not perfect by any stretch. But just because someone did this to me doesn’t mean I’m gonna do that to them.”
Another newcomer, Angie, 53, acknowledged unresolved conflicts with several castmates, including Bronwyn and Marks. “We have some unfinished business. It’s hard. But we’re gonna have to have words,” she said, referencing tensions that arose during the group’s trip to Puerto Vallarta.
The season finale and *After Show* highlighted the ongoing challenges of maintaining friendships within the high-pressure environment of reality television. *The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City* airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
