Ca7riel Paco Amoroso Latin Grammys 2025

Las Vegas, NVCa7riel & Paco Amoroso, the Argentine duo known for their innovative blend of hip-hop, soul, electronic, and stylized pop, triumphed at the 2025 Latin Grammys, winning five awards on November 13. Their victories include Best Short-Form Music Video for “#tetas,” Best Long-Form Music Video for “Papota,” Best Alternative Music Album for *Papota*, Best Alternative Song for “#tetas,” and Best Pop Song for “El día del amigo.”

Producers Rafa Arcaute and Federico Vindver, who worked on the winning album, shared the Producer of the Year award with Nico Cotton after a tie. These initial wins, announced during the Latin Grammy Premiere not aired on television, hint at a promising night for the duo, who are signed under Sony Music Latin‘s 5020 Records.

Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso rose to fame last year and now boast ten nominations, trailing only Bad Bunny, who has twelve. Both acts are contenders in the Album, Recording, and Song of the Year categories, with two nominations each in the last two.

Appearing on stage at the Premiere to accept their Best Alternative Song award, the duo’s members, Catriel Guerreiro and Ulises Guerriero, wore stylish silk outfits. Ca7riel remarked, “We have made a superhuman effort to win this beautiful object. So superhuman that we don’t perceive ourselves as human anymore; we perceive ourselves as a company.”

Paco Amoroso expressed his excitement, thanking Ca7riel, their label, and his mother, advising aspiring artists, “I started singing at 25, so it’s never too late. If you want to do something, go for it!” As the night progressed, their emotions grew. Upon receiving their award for Best Alternative Song, Ca7riel dedicated it to their mothers: “To our mothers, Estrella and Andrea, who are responsible for all of this.”

Paco Amoroso added, “We are genuinely surprised that we are being awarded. Thank you to the team that has enabled us to do these things. We are happy. Thanks to the people of Argentina.”

In total, Brazilian artist Liniker garnered three awards, including Best Album of Contemporary Pop in Portuguese for *Caju* and Best Urban Performance and Best Song in Portuguese for “Veludo Marrom.”

Moreover, Bad Bunny claimed two awards: Best Urban/Urban Fusion Performance for “DtMF” and Best Reggaeton Performance for “Voy a llevarte pa PR.” Veteran rocker Fito Páez also secured two wins for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song for his cinematic album *Novela* and the track “Sale el sol.” The night was marked as a significant triumph for Argentine music.

Among other notable winners, rapper Trueno, who also performed at the Premiere, received the Latin Grammy for Best Rap/Hip Hop Song for “Fresh.”

“Argentine trap is in the house!” Trueno exclaimed, showcasing the vibrant musical scene. The complete list of nominees and winners for the 2025 Latin Grammys will be announced during the live broadcast airing on TelevisaUnivision platforms starting at 8 PM ET/PT.
