Rondé Barber Crooked Tea Partnership

TAMPA, Fla. — Pro Football Hall of Famer Rondé Barber has joined Crooked Tea as an equity partner. The announcement came shortly after the organic hard iced tea brand debuted its sponsorship with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, coinciding with the franchise’s 50th season.

Crooked Tea claims to be the first zero-sugar, USDA Organic, gluten-free hard iced tea available at Raymond James Stadium, aiming to cater to fans seeking a healthier game-day beverage without sacrificing flavor.

Barber expressed his enthusiasm for the brand, stating, “I’ve always been mindful about what I put in my body, and Crooked Tea being zero sugar, organic and gluten-free makes it stand out. This isn’t just an endorsement. I’m a partner, I’m invested and I’m proud to help build a brand that represents Tampa Bay and gives fans a better choice on game day and beyond.”

In the coming weeks, Crooked Tea plans to hold additional sweepstakes, retail takeovers, and community events to engage with fans and promote the product. “We’re not just putting Rondé’s name on a can. He’s sitting at the table with us as an owner and helping shape this brand,” said Ben Weiss, founder of Crooked Tea.

Weiss added, “Fans are asking for better-for-you alcohol options and together with Rondé, we’re delivering a first-of-its-kind hard tea that’s bold, fun and built to last.”
