Lorenzen, 32, is coming off a solid 2024 campaign where he posted a 2.6 bWAR over 130.1 innings. His performance last season was a key factor in the Royals’ push to the playoffs, where their rotation, led by Bobby Witt Jr. and Salvador Perez, carried the team despite offensive struggles.
