Ruben Loftus Cheek Brace Salvages Draw For Ac Milan Against Bologna

AC Milan and Bologna played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in their Serie A clash at the Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday. Ruben Loftus-Cheek was the hero for Milan, scoring both goals for his team, while Riccardo Orsolini netted a penalty for Bologna.

The match started evenly, with both teams looking for their first scoring opportunities. The first chance fell to Milan’s Théo Hernández, whose left-footed shot from outside the box went wide.

In the 20th minute, Loftus-Cheek gave Milan the lead with a powerful header from the center of the area. The ball sailed into the left corner of the net, leaving Bologna goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski with no chance.

Bologna responded with determination and equalized just before half-time. Joshua Zirkzee found the back of the net from a difficult angle on the right, beating Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

Milan had a golden opportunity to regain the lead in the 28th minute when they were awarded a penalty. However, Hernández hit the right post with his left-footed shot.

Loftus-Cheek continued to be a threat for Milan, and just before the halftime whistle, he scored again to level the game. This time, he pounced on a loose ball and struck it home from close range.

The second half saw both teams pushing for a winner, but it was Bologna who had the chance to take the lead from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute. Orsolini calmly converted the penalty, placing it to the left of the diving Maignan.

Despite some late pressure, neither team could find a winning goal, and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

AC Milan’s Loftus-Cheek was the standout performer of the day, scoring both goals for his team. Riccardo Orsolini’s penalty ensured Bologna secured a valuable point in the game.
