Salma Hayek, Jordan Chiles, and Others Featured in 2025 Swimsuit Issue

NEW YORK, NY — Sports Illustrated has tapped Salma Hayek Pinault, Jordan Chiles, Olivia Dunne, and Lauren Chan as cover models for its 2025 Swimsuit issue, set to hit stands on May 17.
Fashion photographer Ruven Afanador captured Hayek Pinault, while Ben Horton photographed Chiles. Dunne and Chan were lensed by Ben Watts. The latest issue features thirty-eight women from various talents and backgrounds, including Olympians like Ilona Maher, Suni Lee, and Gabby Thomas, WNBA star Cameron Brink, and TikTok sensation Alix Earle.
Photoshoots took place in picturesque locations worldwide, such as the beaches of Bermuda and Jamaica, Zurich, Switzerland, the streets of Fort Worth, Texas, and Cuixmala in Mexico. MJ Day, the editor in chief of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, highlighted that the publication stands for more than swimsuits and glamour.
“It’s about creating a platform to capture moments that define our times, celebrating people who are shaping culture,” said Day. “Every woman featured this year represents unique stories, impacts, and driving changes both in their lives and the world.”
The magazine is celebrating the release with a New York City takeover, featuring a range of activities such as throwing the first pitch at a Mets game, lighting the Empire State Building, and hosting a red carpet event. They will also introduce a members-only pop-up experience called The Social Club, offering various live shows.
Hillary Drezner, general manager of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, stated, “At SI Swimsuit, we’re redefining what it means to be a legacy brand in today’s media landscape.” The magazine’s initiatives aim to engage audiences and enhance connections with brand partners.
