San Jose Earthquakes and New England Revolution Clash at Gillette Stadium

Bruce Arena, 73, is at the helm of the Earthquakes, who finished last in the league last season. The Earthquakes are currently on a four-match unbeaten streak.

Caleb Porter, 50, who took over the Revolution after Arena, has led the team to a 5-4-2 record and 17 points, placing them seventh in the Eastern Conference. Porter’s successful strategy includes a strong focus on defense, a stark contrast to Arena’s attacking philosophy.
