Scarlett Johansson Saturday Night Live Host

NEW YORK, NY — On May 17, 2025, Scarlett Johansson made history by becoming the woman who has hosted Saturday Night Live the most times, her seventh appearance on the legendary sketch comedy show.

The episode featured special musical guest Bad Bunny, and Johansson participated in two sketches alongside the popular singer and rapper. During the ‘Weekend Update’ segment, she took the opportunity to address comments made by cast member Michael Che that had previously upset her.

Che humorously admitted to Johansson, ‘I’m just lashing out because I’m jealous,’ before revealing even more surprising admissions penned by Johansson’s husband, Colin Jost.

This latest episode is the third in a series of strong performances from hosts. Johansson’s return to Studio 8H comes after a 20-year hiatus, followed closely by Jon Hamm, who also graced the stage for SNL’s 50th anniversary special.

Fans should mark their calendars for Sunday, June 8, as NBC will re-broadcast the three-hour special that aired live on February 16. The special featured nearly every living cast member and celebrated the long history of SNL with moments of laughter and music, showcasing talents like Kristen Wiig, Fred Armisen, and Will Ferrell.

As for what lies ahead, the season finale aired on May 17, and viewers are eager for the upcoming episode on May 31, which will feature a rerun of Mikey Madison hosting with Morgan Wallen as the musical guest.

Fans can continue to enjoy past seasons and memorable sketches available for streaming on Peacock, as the anticipation builds for the next live episode of SNL.
