RALEIGH, N.C. — A shooting in Raleigh left one person hospitalized with life-threatening injuries on Sunday morning.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire at the intersection of New Bern Avenue and North Rogers Lane shortly after 10:30 a.m. When they arrived, they discovered a victim who had sustained serious injuries.

The injured individual was promptly transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care. As of now, their condition remains critical.

Despite thorough investigations at the scene, Raleigh police have not detained any suspects. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to gather further information about the incident.
