Shots Fired Outside Salman Khan’s Residence in Mumbai: Increased Security Measures Taken
Two unidentified persons on a motorbike carried out a shooting outside the residence of renowned Bollywood actor Salman Khan situated in the Bandra vicinity. Officials from the Mumbai Police announced that the incident transpired at 5 am, with reports citing three rounds of gunfire directed towards the Galaxy Apartments in Bandra.
A team from Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch promptly arrived at the scene to investigate the matter. Simultaneously, forensic science specialists were summoned to gather evidence at the location, increasing efforts to identify the individuals responsible for the shooting.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde engaged in a phone conversation with Salman Khan following the alarming incident. Shinde conferred with the Mumbai Police Commissioner, resulting in the immediate enhancement of security measures around Salman Khan’s residential complex.
Anand Dubey, a prominent figure from the Shiv Sena (UBT) party, expressed concerns over the shooting incident, criticizing the state’s government for a perceived lapse in law and order, highlighting other recent security breaches across Mumbai and Maharashtra.
Bollywood actress Pooja Bhatt also condemned the shooting episode at Salman Khan’s residence. Taking to the social media platform X, Bhatt expressed her dismay at the lack of safety and advocated for more stringent surveillance measures in Bandra to deter such incidents in the future.
In previous occurrences, threats against Salman Khan were issued, leading to police interventions and intensified security measures. The recent shooting incident once again raises questions about the safety and security of prominent public figures like Khan in India’s entertainment industry.
