Sony Unveils New Gaming Monitor with Innovative Features
Tokyo, Japan – Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the release of a new 27-inch gaming monitor designed for PlayStation 5 users. The monitor, equipped with a built-in charging hook for the DualSense wireless controller, is set to launch in 2026 in both the U.S. and Japan.
Since the release of the PlayStation 5, players have enjoyed the flexibility to play their games in various settings—from living rooms to outdoor spaces via the PlayStation Portal remote player. The new monitor aims to enhance this experience, providing exceptional visuals and audio tailored for desktop gaming.
Sony’s Vice President of Product Management expressed enthusiasm about the product, stating, “We are pleased to introduce another option for players with our new gaming monitor, which emphasizes high-quality visuals and flexibility in gameplay.”
This monitor will support VESA mounting and features a range of connectivity options, including two USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port for PlayStation Link adapters, and a 3.5mm audio output alongside built-in stereo speakers. Players will have the option to attach it to various surfaces for a customized setup.
