Spacex Falcon 9 Launch

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Florida — SpaceX successfully lifted off its Starlink 6-89 mission on November 14, 2025, carrying 29 broadband satellites. The Falcon 9 rocket launched at 10:08 p.m. EST from Launch Complex 39A, supporting the expansion of SpaceX’s Starlink internet constellation.

The mission occurred as part of a planned weekend of launches along Florida’s Space Coast. SpaceX aimed to complete the second launch of the night within a four-hour opportunity window, with weather forecasts predicting greater than 95 percent favorable conditions.

Following liftoff, the Falcon 9’s first stage, tail number B1092, successfully landed on the drone ship “A Shortfall of Gravitas” about 8.5 minutes post-launch. This marked the booster’s eighth flight, with previous missions including CRS-32 and GPS III SV08.

The launch came just a few days after SpaceX made adjustments to mitigate potential solar activity’s effects, which initially posed a moderate risk to the launch schedule. SpaceX has now completed 143 Falcon 9 missions in 2025, with 103 designated for Starlink.

SpaceX is known for its rapid cadence of launches. As they prepare for future missions, the company aims for two more launches on March 6 and March 11, further contributing to its growing fleet of operational satellites.

SpaceX continues to lead in the commercial space sector, providing advanced satellite internet coverage crucial for various global applications.
