Spacex Falcon 9 Rocket Launch Vandenberg

VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, California — SpaceX is set to launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 27 Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Friday, May 23, at 1:36 p.m. with backup opportunities until 5:36 p.m.

The launch marks the 25th mission from the base in 2025, according to officials. This mission follows a previous attempt planned for Thursday afternoon, which was initially scheduled for 3:03 p.m. but has since been rescheduled.

After liftoff, the Falcon 9 rocket will separate its stages, allowing the first stage booster to land on the droneship named Of Course I Still Love You, stationed in the Pacific Ocean. A live broadcast of the launch activities is expected to start about five minutes before the scheduled liftoff.

SpaceX continues to expand its Starlink satellite network, which aims to provide broadband internet access globally. This latest launch reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to enhancing satellite technology and services.
