Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl Multiplayer Mode Details and Release Update
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the highly anticipated game from GSC Game World, has finally been released on November 20, 2024, for PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. However, at launch, the game does not include a multiplayer mode, a feature many fans were eagerly anticipating.
Despite the absence of multiplayer at launch, the developers have confirmed that a multiplayer mode is in the works and will be added to the game via a free update. This update is expected to be released “soon after” the game’s initial launch, although a specific release date has not been confirmed.
The upcoming multiplayer mode is set to include PvP deathmatch and team deathmatch modes. These modes will provide players with additional gameplay options and extend the game’s replay value significantly. However, it has been clarified that co-op multiplayer is not currently in development, with the focus being solely on PvP multiplayer.
In addition to the multiplayer update, Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl will also receive two single-player expansions in the future, further enriching the game’s content and gameplay experience.
