Stanley Cup Playoffs Schedule May 2025

NEW YORK — The National Hockey League announced the schedule for select games of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs Second Round, starting Monday, May 5. The complete schedule will be confirmed after Sunday’s Game 7 between the St. Louis Blues and Winnipeg Jets.

The first matchup features the Toronto Maple Leafs facing the Florida Panthers on Monday at 8 p.m. ET. Broadcasts will be available on Sportsnet, CBC, TVAS, and ESPN.

On Tuesday, May 6, the Washington Capitals will square off against the Carolina Hurricanes at 7 p.m. at Capital One Arena, with ESPN providing coverage. The Hurricanes will visit the Capitals again on Thursday, May 8, at the same time.

Another notable series is the clash between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Edmonton Oilers, starting Tuesday, May 6, at 9:30 p.m. ET. This matchup will also be broadcast on ESPN.

As for the Winnipeg Jets and St. Louis Blues, their series schedule will depend on the outcome of their Game 7 on Sunday, which will take place in Winnipeg at 7 p.m. ET. The winner will then face the Dallas Stars in the next round.

With the first round nearing completion, all eyes are now on the final playoff matchups and the anticipation surrounding the second round of the Stanley Cup.
