Oscars 2025 Performers Red Carpet

LOS ANGELES, CA — The 97th Academy Awards will showcase an impressive lineup of performances, featuring artists such as Doja Cat, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, LISA from BLACKPINK, Queen Latifah, and RAYE, as announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Feb. 24, 2025. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 2, at the Dolby Theatre in Ovation Hollywood.

The event will air live on ABC and stream on Hulu at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, with the red carpet show beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. Conan O’Brien will host the ceremony, promising an unforgettable night for both film and music fans.

This year’s Oscars will not include live performances of the Best Original Song nominees, a departure from tradition, focusing instead on honoring songwriters through personal reflections and insights from creative teams. AMPAS announced these changes aim to spotlight the artistry behind the music.

The 2025 ceremony will also recognize Los Angeles as a city of dreams following the devastating wildfires that ravaged parts of the city in January. The Los Angeles Master Chorale is set to make a special appearance, adding to the night’s emotional resonance.

Nick Offerman will serve as the ceremony’s announcer, complementing a star-studded slate of presenters, including last year’s acting winners Cillian Murphy, Emma Stone, Robert Downey Jr., and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. Other notable presenters include Joe Alwyn, Ana de Armas, Halle Berry, and Oprah Winfrey, among others.

Notably, the Academy has confirmed a musical tribute to the iconic James Bond franchise during the event, although specific details remain under wraps. The announcement builds on the Academy’s commitment to honoring cinematic achievements in music and film.

The anticipation around performances continues, especially with Erivo and Grande’s collaboration on a song from the upcoming film adaptation of “Wicked.” Their performance is expected to be a highlight of the evening, as “Wicked” is nominated for 10 awards, including Best Original Score.

As the Academy continues to announce additional performers leading up to the ceremony, fans eagerly await a night that promises both glitz and heartfelt tributes to the industry and the city that hosts it.
