Stephanie Grisham Speaks at DNC
Stephanie Grisham, who once served as the White House Press Secretary under Donald Trump, made waves by speaking at the Democratic National Convention.
In her speech, Grisham described herself as a “true believer” in Trump, sharing that she spent holidays with his family. However, she revealed that her perspective changed when she witnessed the reality behind closed doors.
Grisham made strong claims about Trump, stating he has no empathy, morals, or honesty. She specifically recalled a moment from January 6th, when she asked then-First Lady Melania Trump to post a message urging peace but received a firm “no.”
After that incident, Grisham decided to resign from her position. That part of her speech drew applause from the audience.
She emphasized her love for the country over party loyalty, stating, “Kamala Harris tells the truth.” Grisham openly endorsed Harris, saying she respects the American people.
There were more former Trump administration officials invited to speak at the convention, including Adam Kinzinger and Olivia Troye, signaling a shift among some Republicans in light of Trump’s actions.
