Suits La Trailer Harvey Specter Gabriel Macht

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The highly anticipated spinoff of the hit legal drama “Suits” is set to premiere on NBC this February, with a new trailer revealing the return of fan-favorite character Harvey Specter, played by Gabriel Macht. The series, titled “Suits: LA,” stars Stephen Amell as Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor who has reinvented himself as a high-powered attorney in Los Angeles.

The trailer, released ahead of the Feb. 23 premiere, offers a glimpse into Ted Black’s world, where he navigates the cutthroat legal landscape of L.A. while grappling with his past. Amell’s character is seen negotiating with potential clients and managing a firm in crisis, all while surrounded by a cast of dynamic characters who blur the lines between personal and professional lives.

One of the most exciting reveals in the trailer is the connection between Ted Black and Harvey Specter. A throwback photo shows the two characters together in their younger years, hinting at a shared history. “I never liked him,” says Kevin, played by Troy Winbush, referring to Harvey. “The only person I knew cockier than you.” Ted responds, “That’s exactly why I liked him.”

Gabriel Macht, who portrayed Harvey Specter in the original series, confirmed his return in a social media post last November. He shared a video of his character’s iconic attire, including a dress shirt with the initials “H.S.” and shoes labeled “Harvey.” Macht captioned the post, “When an old friend is in need… it’s time to take care of things and make those very ‘things’ right.”

Stephen Amell, who plays Ted Black, teased the connection between the two characters in a recent interview. “You’ll notice behind my desk that there’s a picture of a young Ted Black with what can only be a young Harvey Specter,” he said. “We came up together in the D.A.’s office. So if I was going to have anyone [from the original cast] come back, I would want it to be Gabriel.”

The trailer also introduces new characters, including Dylan Pryor, a potential client who challenges Ted’s confidence, and Erica Rollins, played by an unnamed actress, who engages in playful banter with coworker Rick Dodsen. The series promises to deliver the same mix of legal drama and personal intrigue that made the original “Suits” a global phenomenon.

“Suits: LA” premieres Sunday, Feb. 23, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Fans of the original series can look forward to a three-episode story arc featuring Harvey Specter, with the possibility of other original cast members making appearances.
