Taco Bell Unveils Exciting New Menu Items for 2025

NEW YORK — Taco Bell has revealed a lineup of new menu items for 2025, including the much-anticipated Baja Midnight Mountain Dew and the innovative Quesocrisp Taco. The announcements were made at the brand’s annual Live Más event held on March 4, 2025, in New York City.
Taco Bell’s Chief Executive Officer Sean Tresvant emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing the dining experience for fans by introducing bold new flavors and menu innovations. ‘For more than 60 years, Taco Bell has been crafting bold, beautiful flavors that ignite cravings,’ Tresvant said in his keynote address. ‘We’re not just making food—we’re creating experiences that surprise and delight.’
The new items include a Flamin’ Hot Burrito, a Quesocrisp Taco featuring a shell made of crispy cheese, and a returning lineup of nostalgic favorites such as the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos. Taco Bell’s Chief Marketing Officer Taylor Montgomery elaborated on fan involvement with the introduction of the in-app functionality called ‘Fan Style,’ allowing customers to customize and name their favorite menu items.
During the event, Taco Bell also showcased its Live Más Café, a beverage-focused restaurant that opened in San Diego in late 2024. The café emphasizes specialty drinks tailored to Gen Z, featuring an array of vibrant beverages such as Churro Chillers and Agua Refrescas.
Exclusively for Taco Bell’s most devoted fans, a new flavor called Mountain Dew Baja Midnight combines passionfruit and tropical lime for a refreshing twist. This beverage will only be available at Taco Bell locations.
The event also celebrated Taco Bell’s innovative initiatives, like the second season of the TBX program designed to support emerging chefs and new culinary concepts. Taco Bell partnered with notable culinary figures, including Oaxacan cuisine expert, to reinvent familiar flavors.
Furthermore, the Taco Bell community was honored during the second annual Bell Awards, with categories such as Menu Hack of the Year awarded to Taylor Frankie Paul for her creative “Dirty Mountain Dew Baja Blast Dream Soda.”
As the fast-food giant moves forward into 2025, it plans to continue expanding its reach, with over 340 new stores set to open in 25 countries this year.
