Awakening from her medical crisis, O’Neal was left unable to talk or walk, with seemingly insurmountable rehabilitation challenges ahead. “Now I don’t want to hurt myself. Now I don’t want to fucking take drugs again—I really don’t,” O’Neal stated with determination.

O’Neal spoke candidly about her relationship with her father after his passing in December 2023, revealing she never received an apology for the pain he caused. A malignant shadow has been lifted from her life, granting her a sense of freedom. Regarding her father’s will, from which she was excluded, O’Neal remarked, “Keep it, motherfucker,” signifying her resolve to move forward.
