Tseminyu District Teacher's Day Celebration

The Combined Tseminyu District Teacher’s Day celebration and Teacher’s Award 2024 took place on 5th September 2024 at the Baptist Higher Secondary School Auditorium, Tseminyu. The event featured SDO (civil) Tsidi as the special guest.

During the celebration, the special guest expressed gratitude towards teachers for their relentless efforts in imparting knowledge and shaping the futures of students. He emphasized the profound impact a pen can have on changing the world.

Kegwayhun Tep spoke about the importance of Teachers’ Day, highlighting that teachers are the backbone of society and play a crucial role in building students’ character.

The Teachers Award and Citation 2024 were presented to Hitilo Kath, G.T (Science) from Government Higher Secondary School, Tseminyu. The welcome address was delivered by Hechulo Semy, the principal of GHSS Tseminyu, followed by a speech of gratitude from K. Munenle Tep, AHM, Government High School, Tseminyu.

The program featured various highlights, including special musical performances by DBS Tseminyu and a group song by GHSS Tseminyu. There was also a tribute titled ‘My Teachers’ Miracle’ performed by Khenlo G. Seb and Nyizanih Apon. The event was compered by Akenyu and Aninkelo Kent.
