Telangana Declares TS Inter Results 2025: Pass Rates Revealed

HYDERABAD, India – The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has announced the results for the Intermediate Public Exams (IPE) 2025 for both first and second-year students on April 22 at noon. The declaration was made by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka in a press conference held at the TSBIE headquarters.
This year, the pass percentage for the IPE 1st year stands at 66.89%, while the 2nd year boasts a pass rate of 71.37%. A total of 9,96,971 students appeared for the exams held from March 5 to 25.
Students can check their results on the official website tgbie.cgg.gov.in or through the education portal at education.indianexpress.com. To access their results, students need to enter their hall ticket numbers.
The results indicate a noteworthy increase in the second-year pass percentage from last year’s rate of 64.19%. The first-year pass percentage has also improved from 61.06% in 2024 to the current 66.89%.
Among the 1st-year students, a total of 4,39,302 appeared, out of which 2,93,852 passed. For the 2nd year, 3,99,943 students took the exam, with 2,85,435 achieving a passing grade.
Historical data from previous years shows the following trends: in 2024, 64.19% of 2nd-year students passed, while 61.06% of first-year students cleared their exams. In prior years, the pass percentage fluctuated, reaching 100% in 2021, likely due to unique circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka emphasized that this year’s results reflect improvements across the board, especially compared to the last two years. Minister for Transport and Backward Classes Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar was also present at the announcement.
Students are encouraged to download their marks memos for future reference, as the original documents with official seals will be distributed through their respective schools a few days after the announcement. The TS IPE also accommodates students who may not have passed, with supplementary exams slated to start in early June.
For those experiencing technical difficulties accessing their results, help desks are available, and support can be sought by dialing the TSBIE helpline.
In summary, this year’s results reflect a promising trend in student performance in Telangana’s educational landscape, encouraging aspirations for higher education paths among successful candidates.
